How Our Products Are Printed

How Our Shirts Are Printed

We work exclusively with commercial-grade print partners who use industry-leading equipment and print for major fashion and streetwear brands alike. Our production partners use the Kornit Atlas MAX — the most advanced garment printer available today.

These machines cost over £450,000 each and are widely recognised as the gold standard for premium, retail-grade prints.

They use plastic and solvent free screenprinting inks, not vinyl or plastisol transfers. Unlike traditional screen printing, these inks do not contain micro plastic bulking agents, resulting in a soft, breathable, and long-lasting finish.

You can trust that your shirt is printed fresh to order, to your exact choices, using the same technology trusted by leading fashion labels.

FAQ – Print Quality & Feel

Why does the print feel thinner than before?

We’ve upgraded to Kornit MAX printers — the same machines used by major global fashion brands. The print now bonds directly into the fibres of the shirt, rather than sitting on top in a thick layer. This gives a longer-lasting, breathable finish that, when properly cared for, won’t crack or peel like traditional heavy plastisol prints.

Has the print quality changed?

Yes — it’s improved. The move to Kornit MAX machines brings retail-grade print precision and a smoother, softer feel. The finish may feel different to older, hand-pulled screen prints, but it's more refined, consistent, and wash-durable.

Why don't you use thicker ink like before?

Thicker prints usually come from plastisol inks, which include plasticizers or bulking agents. While they may feel more “substantial,” they’re also prone to cracking over time. Our new method uses water-based inks — more eco-friendly and much better for long-term wear and comfort.

Is this the same printing used by big-name brands?

Yes — our production partners use the same Kornit MAX machines trusted by high-end retail brands. These machines cost over £450,000 and are widely seen as the gold standard in direct-to-garment printing.

I liked the way the old prints felt — can I request that?

Unfortunately not. We no longer use our old hand-printing method, as the new process offers better print consistency, comfort, and durability — as well as a significantly smaller environmental impact.
