Our print partner is a separate company, fulfilling thousands of orders daily across 12 production lines for us and hundreds of other businesses and organizations. Their process runs 24-7, it's fully automated, designed from the ground up to be completely hands-off, and fast.

Once your order enters their system, it can’t be edited or cancelled through normal channels.

Trial “Lifeline” Service from 1st July 2025

A manual override is now being trialled by our print partner. A paid for service that allows minor changes — size, colour, address — if caught early enough in the process.

If your order hasn’t been finalised for printing yet, their team need to do the following:

  • Locate your order in one of 25 production cart batches
  • Find individual items among 72 other queued products within a batch
  • Re-route the live batch to make a change
  • Swap out / in the corrected item(s)
  • Return the original(s) to warehouse stock
  • Regenerate production and shipping documents
  • Re-enter the batch to the production queue

For address changes, all of the above steps plus reprint labels and update dispatch data.

Making a small change is not a small task: Once an order is already in production, it requires manual actions that are time-consuming and need to be handled by skilled production staff. It's not a quick keyboard edit. There's work to be done to action your request and that’s why a fee is charged.

Our print partner charges us a flat rate £8 to make changes. 

This covers the manual work of halting production and making changes. We pass it on exactly as billed, with no markup or adjustment.

How to Pay

We’ll send a PayPal payment request for £8. You can pay by card without needing a PayPal account — just choose “Pay as Guest.”

PayPal is the only method we can accept.

  • No guarantees. Orders are batched and processed rapidly — often before changes can be actioned.
  • If the change isn’t possible, we’ll refund you in full.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a charge to make changes?

It’s a manual job that interrupts automated production. Skilled staff intervene to halt and update the order, so the print partner charges a fee. We pass that on without markup.

Why is it £8 regardless of the change?

Because the same workflow is required — whether it’s a size swap or address tweak. They set £8 as a flat average across all change types for the trial.

Can I cancel my order instead?

No. The service only supports small corrections, not cancellations — though this may change in future.

What if I told you straight away?

Even if you message quickly, the system may already have locked your order into a batch. Their team isn’t monitoring emails in real time — their job is fulfilling the queue.

But it’s only a small change!

Even small changes require the same disruption. That’s why the process carries a cost.

Isn’t this just profiteering?

No — We do not charge anything for our admin time arranging change requests. We’re simply passing on the fee that we are charged, without extra on top.
