Returns & Refunds Policy. Effective 15/01/26 Onwards
Returns and Refunds Policy
Part 1: If There Is A Problem With Your Order -
Your Statutory Rights
If there is a genuine issue with your order, your statutory rights apply. Examples include:
- A fault with the garment (damage, stitching issues, holes)
- A print defect (misprint, peeling, cracking, squint)
- The wrong item being supplied (wrong size, colour, or style)
- An item that is significantly not as described (such as being materially different from the product description)
For clarity: “significantly not as described” means an objective mismatch (for example the wrong design sent, or the wrong size to what is on your order, or a squint print error). It does not mean it doesn't meet a preference (such as fit, fabric feel/thickness, or simply not liking it).
In the event of a fault - We will do this:
- Ask for clear photos so we can assess the issue quickly
- Replace the item on a like-for-like basis (ie same size, design, colour etc), we will not swap for a different item, colour or size.
- Or, refund if a replacement is not possible with a reasonable timeframe
- Cover return costs where a return is required due to a confirmed fault
This type of problem we will solve very quickly once we are sent the images needed.
Part 2: "Change Of Mind" Requests - Our Policy
Our zero-ambiguity change-of-mind policy:
- We’re not Amazon - We do not operate a “buy and try, keep or return” model like they do.
Why is this important?
- The items in your order do not exist until you place the order.
- Your order is not ready-printed in a warehouse awaiting purchase.
- We custom print each item after checkout according to your instructions: the exact design, garment type, size, and colour combination that you request.
- Each made-to-order item is especially made for you and you only. Once it's printed, it's yours to keep.
Because of this:
- We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind reasons.
- UK distance-sale cancellation rights (known as the 14-day “cooling off” period) do not apply to made-to-order or personalised goods. Since every item is printed to order after checkout, we do not offer change-of-mind returns.
Examples of change-of-mind requests we do not accept:
- Size or fit (too big, too small, or not the cut you expected)
- Fabric feel or thickness
- Colour preference ("the shirt / print colour looks slightly different to the image on my phone")
- The presence of small pieces of thread trimmings or fabric off cuts
- Slight colour variation in the printed design compared with a previous purchase
- A preference for a different print method (for example, not receiving the heavy, plastic-based inks we used in previous years)
- Expecting a garment to be an exact match to an item ordered from us years before (our product range has evolved over time)
- “It's not what I expected” or “I've decided to not keep this order”
- Ordering the wrong size / colour option by mistake
- Delivery delays, unless your order has not arrived within 30 days of the order date (or a later agreed delivery date)
Please check before ordering:
- Read the product description and garment details
- Use the size guide and measure a similar item you already own
- Use our Shirt Comparison Page to choose the right garment type
-
Double check your order details before you submit payment. Is it the right size? Is it the right colour you want? Check first!
Once the order is sent to our external print partner for production, we cannot make any changes - the order cannot be changed, swapped, or cancelled.
If you need the option to return items after delivery, we understand. Because we operate a made-to-order model, we don’t offer change-of-mind returns. If that flexibility is essential for you, this store may not be the right fit, and you may be better ordering from a retailer with a traditional returns model.
Policy update
- This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to all orders placed from 15.01.26.
- The previous policy (for orders placed before 15.01.26) is available here: [link]
- This policy was updated to clarify your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described (meaning materially different from the product description or what you ordered, not a matter of preference).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer 14-day returns?
No. UK distance-sale cancellation rights (the 14-day “cooling off” period) do not apply to made-to-order or personalised goods. Because every item is printed to order after checkout, we do not offer 14-day change-of-mind returns.
If there is a genuine fault, damage, misprint, or the item is significantly not as described, your statutory rights still apply (see Part 1).
Can I return or exchange an item if it doesn’t fit or I don’t like it?
No. We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, including size/fit, fabric feel or thickness, colour preference, a preference for a different print method, or simply not liking the item.
Why don’t you accept returns when other retailers do?
Most big retailers ship from warehouses of pre-made stock and can put returned items back on the shelf.
We don’t work like that. Your item does not exist until you place the order. It is custom printed after checkout in the exact design, garment type, size, and colour you selected.
Because the item is made to order, we do not offer change-of-mind returns.
If there is a genuine fault, damage, misprint, or the item is significantly not as described, your statutory rights still apply (see Part 1).
What counts as “faulty” or “significantly not as described”?
Examples include a garment fault (damage, stitching issues, holes), a print defect (misprint, peeling, cracking, lifting), the wrong item being supplied, or an item that is materially different from the product description or what you ordered.
It does not mean preference (fit, fabric feel/thickness, or simply not liking it) where the item matches the product description and specifications.
I ordered the wrong size/colour by mistake. Can you change it?
Please double check your order details before you submit payment. Once the order is sent to our external print partner for production, we cannot make any changes.
I bought from you years ago and the garment feels different now. Why?
Our garment ranges change over time. Please always check the current product page, size guide, and Shirt Comparison Page to confirm the exact garment you are ordering today.
My order is late. Can I cancel or get a refund?
Delivery delays are not a reason for a change-of-mind return. However, if an order has not been delivered within 30 days of the order date (or a later agreed delivery date), you can contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
What if I damage the item after it arrives? Can I still get a replacement?
No. Replacements apply to genuine manufacturing or print faults only.
Damage caused after delivery (for example snags, tears, holes, stains, heat damage, or any deliberate damage) is not covered.
If you report a fault, we will ask for clear photos. In some cases we may require the item to be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund is issued.
If you replace an item due to a fault, can I change the size or colour?
No. Fault replacements are like-for-like only, meaning the exact same item originally ordered (same garment type, size, colour and design).
If you need a different size or colour, that is a change-of-mind request and falls under Part 2 of this policy.
